so today I did my workout with my trainer at “the bluff” as we call it here in Long Beach. Basically it’s just a bunch of stairs that lead down to the beach. When I say stairs it’s about 30 stairs down and 30 up, times 7 equals, well, i’d add it up but my calculator is on my phone which is in the other room…240? yeah 240 stairs and it’s a mile walk to complete all of them. So I did it. Go me. That’s my rad self, all bundled up to work out, yes, Virginia, it get’s semi-cold in California. While I was quasi running up and down stairs today, this random other stair runner guy gave me a high-five. Ok. that’s weird. He was either like “good job hefty girl” or he was just overly happy. Either way, I think it’s just weird to high-five a random stranger. Unless you’re Oprah, you can’t do that.
Anyway… I was pretty much starving by the end of my workout so I was happy to find that for lunch were these rad chicken wraps from Susan’s Healthy Gourmet. I wont lie I really wanted a volcano taco from Taco Bell, but that’s how I ended up on a diet in the first place!
So diet day 2 is in the books. I wont lie I’d love to eat some ice cream right now and maybe a burger, I’d even settle for a veggie burger, but I need to do this.
In other news, I still haven’t heard back from that reality TV show I tried out with my friend Jess last week. Maybe it’s too soon to know? Some of you were asking what the show was called it’s called “Escape Routes” it’s sponsored by Ford. Google it.
I’m going to bed so I can wake up and eat breakfast - It’s like that ok?
