Super Bowl weekend and a diet….
Trying to stick with a diet over Super Bowl Sunday is one of life’s harder things (for me at least). I admit, I cheated. I’m a cheater. The ranch and onion dip was too tempting, with potato chips. Arrhgghhh! I’m a cheaterrrrr!!!
To be honest, today (monday) I’m feeling absolutely sloth like and slightly sick to my stomach for eating unhealthy, first time in over a month. Then I started thinking: how I feel today is how usually felt all the time before my diet! Eating unhealthy was a regular, daily thing for me. So now my body is like, WTF are you doing eating chips and dip and cookies (I didn’t mention the cookies earlier, but yes, I ate cookies too).
I have to admit, Susan’s Healthy Gourmet has not only been helping me eat healthy but feel better, mentally and physically. I do not want to feel this warn down and heavy again, for a long long time.
So I’ve been downing water all day and sticking to my meal plans and ran a mile and a half in a low low time, my body is punishing me.
At least the Super Bowl is once a year.
