So stay tuned! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Like I said, I have started my new job. I had to get measured for a uniform- I was mortified because my hips don’t lie- the measurements were bigger than I wanted, but eventually I’ll be smaller. This job says I’ll be on me feet for at least 5 hours and walking over 2 miles a shift, good lord! Time to invest in some Dr. Schulls (sp)! &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Whenever lunch comes around, my coworkers come to see what I’m eating, if I’m feeling generous ill let them try it. Susan’s is so unbelievable with their healthy/flavor balance. I love it, and so do the coworkers!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;One good thing about working (like a legit job, no stand up comedy) is that I’m away from my kitchen and temptation to eat crappy food. Amen!&lt;/p&gt;

I admit, I cheated. I’m a cheater. The ranch and onion dip was too tempting, with potato chips. Arrhgghhh! I’m a cheaterrrrr!!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To be honest, today (monday) I’m feeling absolutely sloth like and slightly sick to my stomach for eating unhealthy, first time in over a month. Then I started thinking: how I feel today is how usually felt all the time before my diet!  Eating unhealthy was a regular, daily thing for me. So now my body is like, WTF are you doing eating chips and dip and cookies (I didn’t mention the cookies earlier, but yes, I ate cookies too).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have to admit, Susan’s Healthy Gourmet has not only been helping me eat healthy but feel better, mentally and physically. I do not want to feel this warn down and heavy again, for a long long time. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So I’ve been downing water all day and sticking to my meal plans and ran a mile and a half in a low low time, my body is punishing me. &lt;/p&gt;

We haven’t seen hair this perfectly close to Tintin since we posted the Miz, and he is neither gay nor a woman, so he naturally doesn’t rate as high as AJ. It’s funny how life takes over sometimes!   I did notice today my waist is getting smaller. I have a pair of jeans I’m dead set on fitting in September (my goal month and half marathon month). Weird, I know. It’s kinda like opening Christmas gifts because the meals are always different and I hope for the elusive tiny desserts in the meals as I put them away in the fridge.  So, today marks week two of healthy living and eating…weight loss for last week was 2.5 pounds which totals 6.5 in TWO weeks!!! I never thought cutting out junk food and eating right and working out would show instant results.  I also cut my mile run time down to 15 minutes. It’s like a brisk run/walk…I’m getting there. I’ll make it…  I’ll post some pictures of my body progress this week. I can feel inches off in my waist for sure. Also, I am starting a new job with the Department of Homeland Security, and that guarantees lots of physical work so hopefully that will help with the loss. I mean, I haven’t been THAT busy…you know, football playoffs and a travel expo over the weekend I went to. I think i’m going to take a trip to Holland with the lady friend in April and tiptoe thorough the tulips. So not like me, I know. I did get some really great information however, at the expo…oh there are trains that go all over Europe hopefully I can visit other countries as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So on to the more interesting and relevant topic, my diet. Tomorrow will be 7 days of eating &lt;a href="http://www.susanshealthygourmet.com" title="zomg food!!" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Susan’s Healthy Gourme&lt;/strong&gt;t&lt;/a&gt;, breakfast, lunch and dinner…oh and one snack usually of fruit or crackers and cheese. Along with working out at least 5 days a week for an hour. I also, as I said before have been pounding down water like a fish. I put on a shirt today that was tight at one time around my upper arms, that NOW feels loose! I know it’s only been a week but I’ve cut my caloric intake in half each day, I’ll weigh myself tomorrow for sure to know.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Eating preset meals I am limited to what I can eat. It seems like Monday-Thursday they have me eating a lot of chicken and fish and salads. I was so so so excited to find an Andes candy in my salad the other day. The fat kid inside me was dying to eat it. I really haven’t eaten anything candy wise, only what they’re sending me. Friday-Sunday the meals were a little more carb packed, turkey lasagna and pot roast…today I got chicken tortilla soup with a chocolate cupcake on the side…hollllllllllllerrrrrrrr!&lt;/p&gt;

Dinner was chilaquiles…freakin cheeeelay-keeelaaaayyssss….mexican delishness!  I did a 90 minute Bikram yoga class today. It was fun, like torturous fun. I like the instructor, he’s awesome. The room smells like Fritos and broccoli.  I’m drinking so much water I feel like a fish. Seriously, I should go to CostCo &amp; invest in a pallet of toilet paper, this water thing is no joke.  I’ll weigh myself next Monday, a week after I started this diet to see my progress.  This diet craziness has inspired me to write some jokes for some standup I’ll be doing soon (hopefully). &lt;p&gt;so today I did my workout with my trainer at “the bluff” as we call it here in Long Beach. Basically it’s just a bunch of stairs that lead down to the beach. When I say stairs it’s about 30 stairs down and 30 up, times 7 equals, well, i’d add it up but my calculator is on my phone which is in the other room…240? yeah 240 stairs and it’s a mile walk to complete all of them. So I did it. Go me. That’s my rad self, all bundled up to work out, yes, Virginia, it get’s semi-cold in California. While I was quasi running up and down stairs today, this random other stair runner guy gave me a high-five. Ok. that’s weird. He was either like “good job hefty girl” or he was just overly happy. Either way, I think it’s just weird to high-five a random stranger. Unless you’re Oprah, you can’t do that.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyway… I was pretty much starving by the end of my workout so I was happy to find that for lunch were these rad chicken wraps from &lt;a href="https://www.susanshealthygourmet.com/" title="susans" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Susan’s Healthy Gourmet&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;strong&gt;.&lt;/strong&gt; I wont lie I really wanted a volcano taco from Taco Bell, but that’s how I ended up on a diet in the first place! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So diet day 2 is in the books. I wont lie I’d love to eat some ice cream right now and maybe a burger, I’d even settle for a veggie burger, but I need to do this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In other news, I still haven’t heard back from that reality TV show I tried out with my friend Jess last week. Maybe it’s too soon to know? Some of you were asking what the show was called it’s called “Escape Routes” it’s sponsored by Ford. Google it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Anyhowwwwwwwwww……Today I did an entire hour on my treadmill and some weights. Nothing too exciting except while working out i was watching/listening to “Waiting for ‘Superman” on Netflix on the iPhone, please watch it. Definitely a documentary worth your time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So tomorrow starts day one of &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.susanshealthygoumet.com" title="susans food rocks click this!" target="_blank"&gt;Susans Healthy Gourmet meals&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;. It’s rad because they &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;deliver them fresh to my door Monday and Thursday&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;. I’ll take some before pictures of myself tomorrow too, but I’m not gonna say how much I weigh until I finally reach my goal, THEN you all can know the secret. ok? ok. However, the before pictures will be super sexy in boxershorts and a t-shirt. Wallpaper picture quality I’m sure. Oh and I’ll take pictures of the food and vlog it, fun times to come if you like food and wanna follow my diet.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So, now I’m laying on my couch eating a snack pack of peanut butter crackers waiting to go eat dinner out with the lady.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;But you say “AJ aren’t you on a diet!?” why, yes I am…really starting Monday because…. &lt;a href="http://www.susanshealthygourmet.com"&gt;http://www.susanshealthygourmet.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br/&gt;
Is now my source for food breakfast lunch and dinner…hopefully with eating right combined with my working out, I’ll be seeing some results…hopefully. So with that said: I did 45 minutes on the treadmill at 8% incline at 3.5mph….and my legs are burning…tomorrow (Friday) im going to the beach to jog the sand, and by jog I mean walk fast maybe a few fast strides, that could look like a jog. Maybe. Wanna join??&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A “healthy food company” is sending me a weeks worth of food to review, hopefully it’s delicious or I’ll get cranky being hungry &amp; starving and hate their food and give them a bad review. &lt;/p&gt;
